These are a staple in my house, an excellent go to treat that’s not too bad for you.

Paleo Cocoa Balls

They may look harmless, but once you try one EVERYTHING changes.

These were a major hit for my non-paleo family, and they now make them at home about once a month. Quick and easy to throw together when your sweet tooth just will not rest!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup of cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup of raw honey or agave syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • pinch of salt

Method:

  1. Pre-Heat oven to 350 C
  2. Get a bowl
  3. Put all above ingredients in the bowl. Mix them together with a whisk or mixer, it should form a fairly thick ‘dough’.
  4. Get out a baking sheet, form 1 inch-ish sized balls using your hands. Place them on baking sheet about 1 inch apart.
  5. Bake for 10 mins.
  6. Remove your creations from the oven, let them cool on a plate. Store in the fridge or freezer so your coconut oil does’t get away from you.

Makes about 10 balls. So so so easy to make aka very dangerous!
